I have been having sciatica pains for years with my endo, more when I’m on my period and ovulating but can be whenever. I have had an MRI to see if any nerves or discs or compressed etc but apparently they aren’t, was wondering if anyone else has had this experience?
I had leg pain badly as a teenager
Has anyone else had their hormones tested after getting diagnosed with endo? If so, results? All my hormones are fine, except my estrogen is very low. I am going to discuss with Dr but I am curious to know others' results, if you'd like to share, thanks!
Curiosity. My hormones feel so whacky. I have these crazy emotional episodes that creates stress on my body so I was thinking progesterone would be low but at the same time I feel like my estrogen is… read more
I this might be a really silly question but do you get diffrent kinds of endometriosis. My fertility specialist said that he found inflammatory Endometriosis? I know nothing about this.
Hi I went for my post op today and he explained it all. Haha sorry for silly question
I meant to say progesterone cream at night not estrogen!
I used to sleep great, but when I start getting endo pain I have a hard time staying asleep. If the tiniest thing wakes me up, that's it, I'm awake. If I take something before bed it wears off before it can help. And I don't always have an opportunity for a nap later in my day. Has anyone found a way to get restful, restorative sleep? Only getting 6 hours of sleep a night almost every night is really wearing me down.
When I get a flareup, I get about four hours asleep, so I usually take an edible and I sleep all night
I was curious if anyone else has ever noticed exercise helps symptoms? I was doing CrossFit regularly and I noticed my cramping, spot bleeding, pms symptoms subside. I noticed when I am heavily stressed they come full force. But doing intense exercise did the reverse.
I read in an article that doing core work is a no no due to pulling in the stomach and risking spreading the adhesions to the other side of the stomach ? It sounds logical doesnt it?
I continued to have constant pain after having Laproscopy in January. The pain may not be AS bad as before the surgery, but now I have new pain that I didn't have before. My doctor suggested take Lupron Depot since I was still experiencing pain. I took the 3 month dose in August and I'm still having constant pain daily. I'm scheduled to take another 3 month dose in a couple of weeks. Advise, please, ladies; should I take another shot of Lupron even though I'm still in pain??
I had a different experience with pelvic floor PT but I think I just got lucky and got a really good gal who goes very slow. Bc I'm still doing it for the past 6 months and I love it! Helps my pain… read more
My periods more or less stopped almost two years ago. I am 49 years old and have suffered all the typical "periomenopause" and "menopause" symptoms (hot flashes, night sweats, foggy thinking, dryness, etc) for about 3 years now. After my laparoscopy two months ago, the doctor told me that in looking at my organs, I am NOT in menopause. She removed the left ovary and both fallopian tubes due to endo, and burned endo off of my bladder and behind my uterus. All of my symptoms are returning and… read more
I believe not having periods for the time you state usually does mean menopause. It is possible to continue to have endo & endo symptoms post-menopause though menopause for a lot of women means… read more
I have really bad cramps every time I get my period and they hurt so bad that I can't get out of bed. They have done an ultrasound and can't find anything wrong. I need answers
Mine was found only with diagnostic laparoscopic surgery. It's true that it is the only way to find it. For me, the doc said if it's bad enough that a hysterectomy is warranted, she would remove what… read more
