I had laparoscopy surgery for endo Feb 16th. They removed endo and a cyst on my right ovary. My period should have started 6 days ago and I have been having a lot of bad cramping but no period in sight. Has anyone else experienced anything like this with their first period after laparoscopy?? Thank you!!

Yes I did and I've had 3 different surgeries for endo. My doctor explained that your hormones need time to level out and adjust to what tool place during the procedure.

Surgery will throw your cycle off. Usually yhe 1st period after surgery will be bad.

I too had a delayed period following my laparoscopy. A lot has gone on in there your body needs time to readjust. Totally normal

I did two - I had strange periods for about three months after the lap, very light/heavy/crampy - it's to be expected
