Tylonel Or Nothing?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi there! So as explained in my bio I cannot habe any medication with Ibprofen or Motrin inside for cramping pain. I’m basically addicted to my heating pad and warm bubble baths. Is there anything else you could recommend? I do excersize 3 times a week when I’m not in frown town! Just any advice would make me happy. Thanks!

Dietary changes are helpful for some-- not in the sense that people are eating "unhealthy" food, but some foods are more likely to cause or contribute to inflammation. Wheat, dairy, sugar, and alcohol are a few examples. You could also try natural anti-inflammatories such as turmeric (in supplement form or use it as a spice when cooking). With your exercises, try to avoid movements that shorten your abdominal muscles (such as crunches). Hope you're feeling better soon!

I can certainly vouch for the diet thing, i still get sick and lots of pain but not the kind i had for years immediately after eating and much less with bowel movements. Less nausea hat comes directly with pain too. Id suggest with this method you drink more water that what you think you need, too, just an extra few gulps here and there every day and night. Ask a trusted doctor that is involved with your treatment, to see if you can use medically prepared but natural turmeric. The active anti-inflammatory is called Curcumin. Ginger also can help if you find a lot of pain right before passing blood, but if you bleed easily from anti inflammatories, it's truly best to do it under supervision plus start on 1/3 the dose and once a week bump it up to the full dose on the pack. It took me 2 weeks, my bloating went down drastically, my nausea reduced especially with pure crushed ginger. I have that in a hot tea with a half teaspoon of turmeric plus magnesium supplements for cramp reduction, on days and weeks that i need extra help or an incoming bleed. I use it all, every day I just Hague where I'm at, it's kind of fun learning really and can be quite cheap at a discount chemist and/or supermarket. I take at least a baseline dose morning and night. Plus, theyre very healthy and they're totally safe together. I get stomach ulcers from NSAIDS, plus nosebleeds very easily. I combine my tea drinking sessions with slow, gentle yoga.so gentle, it feels almost pointless. May I also suggest remembering how amazingly strong and intelligent you are for facing such pain, the unknown, and still giving it your efforts every day. Big hugs! Don't ever give up, we find new little helpful hints by sticking together xoxo
