I've been reading that endo causes scar tissue & I'm loaded & I'm wondering if it could be scar tissue & not endo that I have.
Thank you. I sure will & I will give you all the details. I really appreciate all your help. Hugs Tigreyes
I am very happy to hear you're going. Please let me know how your appointment goes. Good luck😀!!
Thank you so much Chaya. I hope your pain goes away. I really appreciate all your info bc you know a lot. I have the appointment at the Mayo Clinic with Dr. Javier Magrina. He has good ratings & Dr Askari a robot dr. told me about him years ago but I was unable to get there but I'm going now. I just want some real answers & know what my options are. Thank you so much for your help & support. Hugs Tigreyes.
Hi! Seprafilm is temporary and is absorbed by the body. It helps prevent the formation of adhesions after surgery but doesn't completely prevent them. Some people scar worse than others. You and I are two of them. My guess is the surgeon who discontinued your last lap was not equipped to remove the disease and scarring he saw which is why surgery with a true endo excision specialist is crucial. I understand what it is to endure pain that is 7 out of 10. It is horrible. I was awakened last night several times from pain. Try to hang in there and see one of the specialists in Phoenix if you're able. They are reliable and good. They know their stuff! Feel better, my friend!
Happy Birthday I know what you are saying is true bc I was warned when I had my last lap in 2016. When you have pain level 7 & can't function your willing to try anything bc I have no life being in bed. In 2007 I dr. terminated the lap bc he said I was a mess. I am loaded with them. I read in dr. cooks book that there is something that can prevent adhesions so why don't they use it? It is called seprafilm Gore-Tex soft tissue patch, adept, sprayshield, & adhibit. Do you know anything about it.? You have been so helpful to me bc I know you have been on the team for a long time. Thank you very much. Do you happen to know if the Mayo Clinic is going to want to do there own tests or will they accept my recent like a month old ct scans & MRI when I get it? It is going to be hard to go back & forth so I am trying to have everything up to date. thanks again. Hugs tigreyes
