I continued to have constant pain after having Laproscopy in January. The pain may not be AS bad as before the surgery, but now I have new pain that I didn't have before. My doctor suggested take Lupron Depot since I was still experiencing pain. I took the 3 month dose in August and I'm still having constant pain daily. I'm scheduled to take another 3 month dose in a couple of weeks. Advise, please, ladies; should I take another shot of Lupron even though I'm still in pain??
I had a different experience with pelvic floor PT but I think I just got lucky and got a really good gal who goes very slow. Bc I'm still doing it for the past 6 months and I love it! Helps my pain… read more
I started taking visanne 7-8 weeks ago and had a noticeable reduction in pain however my first cycle while on the medication hasnt stopped and I'm going on 4 weeks. My gyno is suggesting I tough it out since it's working to reduce pain but I'm inclined to stop if the bleeding continues. Everything I've read so far about visanne indicates your period should become lighter and maybe even disappear so I'm wondering if anyone else had this side effect and was there a way to stop the bleeding?
Mine was 3 month then I had to stop it
Is it normal to lose your appetite after a Laparoscopy? I've lost it since the day I had it done (May 16th 2016), loss 1 stone since (I was 8 stone) thanks 😊👍🏼🎗
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member Thanks so much! 😊💜
I was wondering when I will be able to get up? I have a old dog who needs to get out early and a couple of times
All depends on yourself and recovery period
Absolutely. From what I’ve read not having a uterus does not stop or mean no endometriosis.
I’ve even read that men can have endometriosis.
So much no one seems to know.
What are your fave gluten free dairy free snacks? Not full meals but snacks
I have had Celiac for 18 years so gluten-free snacks are what I live for lol. I usually do nuts (almonds/peanuts), fresh fruit (I make bowls of apple, kiwi, orange, etc), you could also do something… read more
I’ve been on it for 2 years now and I remember it taking two or three shots before the bleeding slowed. I still spot pretty often but nothing like before
Hi Endo Warriors! This is a photo of me around age 15 when I first started experiencing Endo symptoms. I remember temporarily losing my vision twice due to the pain being so bad. I remember feeling so afraid because I was suffering so much with vomiting on my period too and no one thought anything was wrong with me. When you are told there is nothing wrong with you, you stop asking for help because you feel afraid that maybe you are the one who is mistaken.
Anyways, fast forward 10+ years, and… read more

I’ve been on the depo shot for two and a half years, and had a laparoscopy 6 months after starting. They told me they were able to remove about 75% of the endo based on where it was located, so they kept me on the depo thinking it would prevent more tissue growth. Within the past couple of months, I’ve started having really intense periods every 2 or 3 months rather than spotting, and they’re heavier and more painful than before I started any form of birth control. Could this be a sign that the… read more
