Endo Flare Ups And Painful BMs
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Every time I get a flare up going to the bathroom, sometimes even just to pee as well, is excruciatingly painful. I always end up chucking it up to "oh maybe I just have ibs" because I ALWAYS invalidate my pain. Is this common, do you ladies get the same thing? :(

I used to have terrible BM. I think it is pretty common and one of the side effects that helped me realize my pain was probably endo.
Crying on the toilet was the norm, and sometimes peeing too. I'm on an incredible regiment of CBD and herbs and I've now had 2 months of totally normal, non-crying poops.

best of luck girl <3

I went undiagnosed for YEARS because I thought all my pain was digestion related and caused by my diet habits. I believed I just needed to eat more fibre and drink more water. So I totally get this. However now that I know what’s really going on.... I realize my painful BM are caused by adhesions on my descending colon and don’t dismiss them as no big deal anymore. Instead I complain to my osteopath about it and she breaks them up for me so it’s a bit less painful.

I asked my endo specialist the IBS question. He said I don't have IBS. What I do have is adhesions that are pulling. The physician who told me this was Dr. Nabil Husami, may he rest in peace. He was a pioneer for endometriosis amd the best of the best!

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member omg that sounds so painful. Yeah I'm going to get a second opinion from another doctor which my cousin sees for her endo and he's willing to do the lap so hopefully I'll get some answers. It's just like so painful even just having gas whenever I have flare ups kill me. Not fun.
