I've always had 7-10 day mostly heavy periods. This month it came earlier than usual and is persistent and very painful.
I've been bleeding for 14 days now and currently still going. I've had alot of spotting between, heavy then slow days and all colors from bright red to black and back and forth. Is this normal? At some point how long is too long? I have UTI like symptoms but I've had 20+ times it's always negative cultures.

I’m in a similar position—just beginning day 15 of bleeding. My doctor told me to come in bc it’s longer than 7 days and abnormal for me, so I have an appointment today. My periods are also around 7 days normally, though I don’t usually hit 10 days. I’ve had this happen before where I bled for a month which ended up being uterine polyps for which I had a D&C and a second time right before my endo lap in May. However, I’ve been told it can also be caused by hormonal issues. Since it’s abnormal I would have it checked out if you’re able.
