Has Anyone Ever Tried The Newest Mini Pill, Slynd ?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I tried 3 IUDs and my body rejected all 3; then tried Norethrindrone and I hated it . My weight changed for the worse and it effected my mood. So I stopped . My doc told me about a newer pill called Slynd . Wondering if anyone else has had experience with this ?

You're most welcome. Incidentally, I'm not sure where you are in your endo journey. Birth control can help, but really they just mask symptoms. It's important that your doctor tell you that it doesn't… read more

Endo Awareness Youtube
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi ladies. I hope that you're all coping well with your endo & that you're feeling peaceful (although probably unlikely). I'm wondering, I have a Youtube channel & am wanting to put up a video about what endo is & to share my journey with endo (to promote awareness of this condition, as well as to get us talking & sharing). What I'd like to know is if any of you would happen to have any advice or interesting tips that I could include in the video for those who may be watching? This could… read more

Hard Time After Op Getting Back To Work, Mentally Feeling Low
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I had my first diagnostic laparoscopy surgery just over two weeks ago, 13th Oct. physically I feel well enough to try to get back to a normal routine and work. However after suffering my symptoms of endo for nearly 10years, with no doctors listening to me. Mentally I'm struggling. I'm relieved to find out I do have endometriosis, and I wasn't "crazy". But now it's hit me emotionally. I had my first day back in on Monday. I found it very tough. I'm a veterinary nurse, so I can't really take it… read more

I totally hear you and can relate 100% - especially going back to work so quickly, it doesn’t really give a lot of time to process the feelings and emotions, but I do think it will help keep my mind… read more

Can I Eat Soy While On Hormones That Stop My Cycle?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've been trying to find alternatives for foods that usually have dairy or gluten in them. My body doesn't do well with rice and starchy vegetables either, so most alternatives aren't much better. I've found some alternatives that only have soy in it, which I know increases estrogen levels. But since I'm on hormones, my estrogen levels are quite low. Does anyone know if, in this situation, soy still has a bad influence on endometriosis
I've been trying to build some muscle, but it's pretty… read more
