More Stretch Marks Are Appearing. Should I Be Concerned?

I have had stretch marks since about 6 months before my diagnosis(surgery). After my surgery they were dark purple(black and blue) and more painful than the incisions(and my belly button incision got infected, so fun). Everytime I have a flare up (which is about every month for a couple weeks) I bloat and look six sometimes eight months pregnant and they stretch out more. Stretch marks are really caused by hormones.So all you really can do is try to keep the skin hydrated.I also read somewhere tanned skin does it less but then you have the issues with that.
