Kratom
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I just searched and saw this was asked 11 months ago -- but I want an update. Has anyone tried Kratom for endometriosis -- if yes, did it help in any way (mentally/physically?)

Thank you

Hope y'all had a better day than yesterday. Much love and support to everyone. πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ

Yes, I used Mang-Dai (sic) because I needed a lift from depression caused by intractable pain.

I liked the "lift" but not the GI stuff=D

I tried it briefly in capsule form. It didn't ease physical pain, but I was amazed at its potential (for me) as anti-depressant or "mood stabilizer".

Sadly, with my GI issues, it only exacerbated the constipation, leading to a partial obstruction. I was hospitalized for 6 days=0

Make sure to eat a solid amount of food with it and start out with one gram to see how your body feels. There can be withdrawals from it so taper off if you stop taking it

I love kratom for pain. Eat a meal with it ir you will get nauseous! Watch hamiltons pharmecopia on hulu to learn more about it. Dont trust the fda. They dont want kratom to be available because it would end the opiod epidemic or at least help it.

Eeeek! I've heard about the GI issues, but mostly about nausea. No bueno. I already get constipation from the Norco - a relatively small dose - 5mg twice a day. My hubby ordered some Kratom samples for the both of us - he suffers from chronic pain too and we both want to use something that works but get off opiates. I will not use any pain meds as I try the Kratom to see "true" results. Plus, I've read Kratom and opiates cancel each other out. Hubby and I have done tons of research.

I'm hoping for pain relief and mood stabilizer effects from Kratom. Different strains provide different effects. I will update my results.
