Hi!! I have probably been living with endo since my first period. I have never had a pain free period. I was diagnosed about 9 yrs ago. I've had 3 laparoscopies and one small bowel resection and my appendix removed. Two and half years ago I had a bowel obstruction. Horrible and terrifying experience. I went on visanne after being readmitted to hospital 2 months after resection because inflammation on my bowels was starting again. It was very painful. I was on visanne for about 6 months. I think everyone's body is different. I ran out of visanne and started spotting. I waw good when I resumed with it. It works fine for me.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this! I’m not on vissane but am on progesterone only birth controls and the side effects aren’t fun. I can relate to the feeling of being defeated and the wondering why my body decided to go against me. Hang in there! You definitely are not alone in this. Sending a huge hug your way.
