Dose Your Endo Prevent You From Daily Tasks During Bleeding?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

My husband thinks it's only me. When I start bleeding it's heavy , relentless and painful I usually barely move around and when I do even if I'm wearing a tampon or pad I leak like I've been stabbed and it feels like it.

YES. Totally TMI but it feels like sometimes when I get up it feels like I’m peeing it’s so heavy. Plus I get super dizzy and nauseated from losing so much blood. When I’m working I usually have to take 2-3 days off minimum from pain and heaviness. During that time I’m usually completely bed written.

I hated the butt lightning on my period the worst because it always shot through to my uterus. Those sharp pains.. omg.. awful.

Right now I’m trying different birth controls because I desperately don’t want to get a period :(

I'm always out nearly bedridden on my first like 3 days of my period. It's not at all only you.

I try to do extra housework the week before I start because inevitably my husband has to pick up the slack while I'm on my period.

Keep your head up things will get better/easier. Talk to your gyno about it and some pain management.
