I had an internal ultrasound today for pain new pain had for 2 months they’ve found quite a large cyst inside my ovary. I may just be panicking over nothing but I was meant to be trying for a baby about now. I only have 1 ovary and I’m so concerned 1. It could burst and burst my ovary and 2. That the gyne may have the take my ovary out. I’m quite frankly terrified, I’ve always wanted kids, there’s nothing I want more. Any advice or experiences people have had I would be so grateful to hear 💛

ok so this might go into TMI but I just wanted to ask if anyone here has ever done a specific ultrasound for Endo which is a transvaginal one? I have an appointment to do one on Tuesday and its my first one ever.
I have to have a laxative and an enema before the appointment and I've never done anything like that before, I'm quite nervous about the whole entire thing. So if anyone here has ever done ANY of this before, I would like to know if its uncomfortable or any thing like that. Thanks.

Hey, is there anyone who has greater pain and problems during ovulation? During my actual period I only get stabbing pains here and there but over a week during ovulation I get a lot of pressure and pain in my pelvis. My pelvis feels bruised, it's even tender to sit down. Diagnosed with endo about six years ago, have always had heavy very painful periods but over the last few months it’s gotten much worse, can’t move my first few days, extreme bleeding (a super tampon +) every half hour to hour or so and a lot of pain going down my lower back into legs. Recently diagnosed with Endo. I have cyst on left ovary. I meet with Gyn next week to discuss. I also have health anxiety and would prefer cyst to be removed. What are other’s experiences with this?

Does anyone have experience with Dr. Kimberly Swan. I am considering having her do my surgery to remove a large cyst (endometrioma) as well as possible endometriosis. I have met with her but I'm still on the fence.

If so what size was yours and what procedure did you have?

I had chocolate cysts removed before and the ultrasound never said septation and debri. My fallopian tubes removed because they were adhered to my colon. Has anyone dealt with different types of cysts then the normal chocolate cysts ? Is this just the type of language they are using today with cysts? When do you decide to remove the ovaries ?

Last year, I had a laparoscopy where they removed a lot of stuff -- among them, a cyst on my left ovary and an endometrioma/chocolate cyst on my right ovary, which we knew about going into the surgery.
