I had it for about 9 months and it wasn’t a positive experience... drs kept saying give it time- I couldn’t do it any more.. it caused major joint pain in my hips and legs, periods would last 2 weeks, terrible anxiety and mood swings... it took a while to recover once it was removed but everyone reacts differently.. there is a fb group iud side effects.. lots of information and stores there .. hope this is somewhat helpful
