Hey ladies. I'm 1 week post-op today. We were able to keep my right ovary for hormone production. Recovery has been a breeze, with literally no pain and only minimal cramping. I have had only one headache since surgery, which was a couple hours afterwards, and I contribute it to anesthesia. My abdominal bloating is literally GONE and I feel better than I have in years already, both physically and mentally. Hope you are all doing well!

I did still get migraines after stopping hormones. I am currently on Orillisa. However if this does not work, I will consider a hysterectomy. My periods are long, heavy and painful.

Why hysterectomy? Are u older?
Its ok to have surgery every 2yrs or so if needed. Not fun i know...but those hormones protect your heart.
I totally understand though....

Have you ever stopped birth control and still experienced this? It's been almost 4 weeks since I stopped.
