Has Anyone Removed Their Mirena IUD Before The 5 Year Expiry And Have A New One Put In

I had a mirena IUD inserted in October of 2017 and it worked wonders for my endo, as i essentially stopped having my period. However, it seems like my IUD has lost its efficiency for the past month, month and a half. I was wondering if having my current IUD removed and a new one inserted could help? Has anyone gone through this?

Help, I am so discouraged!
