Does anyone else get chronic UTIs? I have tried everything to stop getting them, they are getting worse and more painful. I eat very clean, exercise, drink lots of water and have tried adding supplements in as well (d-mannosse, cranberry, etc.) and they will not stop coming back. Does anyone know if UTIs are related to Endo? I know some people got them chronically before surgery and what not. Thanks!
I had not heard of a pelvic floor therapist until about a year ago...but I am not sure how exactly it helps?? I've heard several people talk about going to one though.
Keep working on getting into a new doctor...I'm sorry you aren't getting one to really work with you.
Maybe there is someone on this site that is in your area that has a good doctor they can recommend.
They are awful..hopefully you can get a break from them soon!
Please keep me posted on your search!

Your welcome, yes check out that paste...I really do feel like it helps me with pain/inflammation. It has turmeric, ginger, honey, coconut oil, black pepper and I think cinnamon.
Yeah idk, at this point, I am just like welp...I tried to get myself help! lol but I am trying to get a second opinion from another gyno doc. She is just sending me to a pelvic floor therapist...just thinks my muscles are tight. Idk how that relates to all my other symptoms though.
I am trying to be positive though!
I am so happy you don't have to deal with UTIs as much anymore! That is great, they are so awful lol
Thanks for the info on the paste...I will have to look into this.
Also, after my surgery I rarely had UTI's...but when I have had them I usually go on Macrobid or Cipro and they clear right up. I definitely do not get them like I used to..thank God! I saw a huge improvement after surgery.
Hi there,
Sorry have had family in town and no time to respond until now...
I'm sure you hear some very interesting things in your job.... Your thought on doing real estate is a great one...would give you flexibility.
I know it can be so hard when you feel so bad to make it to work...I have had days like that as well. You cannot feel like you are weak b/c you don't go to work...you have to remember while yes there may be people that we feel have something worse...what you are dealing with can be debilitating at times...and just because it can't be seen on the outside it doesn't mean it's not real and painful for you!
Not that anyone wants to have surgery, but I wish your gyn would take this more seriously for you. I have not ever heard of them saying someone is too young, especially if you are in so much pain and have so many symptoms. Probably not a bad idea to look for another doctor who will listen to you. You need to feel like you are being heard and they are going to take action for you. From what my doctor has told me is that with endometriosis it can even be a tiny spot and cause extreme pain.
I can see where it would be stressful feeling like you need to have kids quickly so you don't miss your chance...but you need to listen to your gut and you know your situation better than anyone. Knowing that is something you want, that is another reason to really search out a doctor that you trust and can guide you through your options and if you truly do have Endometriosis they can have a plan for you.
I will let you know once Tampax puts me on the wall! ;)

Also, did you find that after surgery, your UTIs were decreased? Did you have to go on antibiotics 3x a month or what did you do?
