I have had my period for 11 days now which I know is probably normal for many if you, but for me is very unusual. Though I have struggled with painful, fast and furious periods for as long as I can remember, they usually only last for 6 days maximum. Insist that they do an ultrasound. That's how they found out that I had adenomyosis and a fibroid tumor. They can't see endometriosis from an ultrasound, but it may help to see if there is more going on. I've felt your pain. I had my period for 4 months and was in and out of the doctor's office getting misdiagnosed left and right. Be persistent! I hope you get some relief. What you're experiencing is NOT normal, and the right doctor will figure that out. Hang in there!
