Start Progesterone Only Pill Right After Laparoscopy?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Just had my laparoscopy done 2 days ago and the doctor wants me to start to take progesterone only pill for 8 weeks continuously until I see him. I had spotting after I started the 1st pill last night. I don't really know the bleeding is from the laparoscopy or the pill....anyone has similar experience to share?

I took progesterone after my surgery but it was due to hot flashes I experienced from also being on Lupron. I’d say your bleeding is probably due to the surgery, I experienced it. If you’re worried though, reach out to your doc!!
