Wondering if anyone can enlighten me. I'm 35 weeks pregnant (successfully conceived just after surgery last year) and was considering drinking raspberry leaf tea in the final weeks to prepare for birth. But I've read a few sites which say that it's not a good idea for women with a history of endometriosis to drink this tea during pregnancy. Does anyone know why this would be the case? Or if it's even true?
I am going to ask my obstetrician when I see her next week but thought maybe someone here… read more
I found at the very start of my pregnancy, I had pains that felt like endo and I was so worried that it was already growing back (just a few weeks after surgery!) But then I discovered I was pregnant and have had a pain-free pregnancy since. Also hoping to breast feed and delay my period's return for as long as possible, I hope my endo won't regrow too quickly!
If we do decide we want a second baby (currently not sure) I suppose we will have to move pretty quickly as I am turning 32 in a few months and don't know how well my fertility will last once my cycles become regular. I'm hoping not to have any more surgeries now but was told there's a good chance I'll develop more endometriomas between now and menopause. Ugh!
I think it helped because I was able to breastfeed them until they were 10-11months and my periods don't come back till I stop feeding
Also my pregnancy did help my endo, but only till our babies were about 3 and a half then it came back each time. Have finally had the surgery....
I drank it by the bucket load😄😉ATB 🤗
Thanks MGF - I asked my obstetrician about it and she had never heard that there was a problem with endo patients drinking it. I think I will give it a try! :)
