Endometriosis On Uterosacral Ligament
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does any one in the group have endometriosis on uterosacral Ligament ? Have you experienced problem of sitting post - op due to having strange feeling at end of your back where you sit ? If , Yes , for how long does this continue? Or , this lower back problem is due to Ablation and not doing excision by the surgeon?
I am now 7 days post-op

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member if you don't have pelvic floor PTs, a regular physical therapist/physiotherapist should still be able to help with issues with your sacrum

@ ShannonMcSparkle Really thanks for your answer. I think we don't have pelvic floor physical therapist here in Egypt. I haven't heard of such specialty except after joining the Group and nancy's nook .
Yes , our body takes time to heal.
Really thanks, you gave me hope.

I have/had endo on my uterosacral ligaments and had it removed once by ablation and once by excision. I did not have that issue after either surgery, though I do have some general issues with my sacrum that may or may not be endo-related. If you have access to a pelvic floor physical therapist, that will probably be helpful in addressing this and any other issues and is a really good idea to pursue after endo surgery if possible. Whether you have ablation or excision, your body goes through a lot in surgery and it takes time to heal, so hopefully this is just healing pain. I hope you find relief soon 💛

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member , We do have N-Acetylcysteine 300 mg and 600 mg as sachets . But , what is its role for sitting problem ? It is known as Mucolytic and its role for Contrast Induced Nephropathy is ow questionable.
My surgeon interpreted that as Inflammation from surgery and Put me on Alphintern( It is not a U.S Medication, present only in Egypt)
