Been on Visanne since October 2018, pain was reduced significantly within the first few months and I didn’t have much spottting and my last period was in November of 2018. I had bleeding in the December due to a hemorrhagic cyst but that was it. This Wednesday I had bright red spotting at around 10 pm and following the next day very light spotting and that was it. I am pretty sure that is normal a few months into continuous oral progesterone therapy. I was on norethindrone for a few months but had to stop because I had a lot of side effects, but they told me when I started it that after around 6 months it’s common to have irregular spotting. I’d still ask your doctor but I don’t think it is concerning, though still no fun! Hope you feel better soon!
