How Long Does It Take For Cymbalta To Get In Your System?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've been on 30 mg. of Cymbalta 1 a day for 10 days now & see no improvement. Does anybody know how long it usually takes?

I remember the doc saying with cymbalta you need to keep increasing dose gradually for pain benefits.

I tried that medication, I think they said it can take about two months to see a difference

I've never taken it but read that Cymbalta is absorbed within 6 - 10 hours but it takes several weeks, about 2 -6 weeks depending on what you're taking it for, to feel the full effects and 6-8 weeks to achieve therapeutic blood levels.

I think around 2 weeks, you may need a stronger dose.

Hi everyone! I’m so sorry I haven’t been on here sooner! Please try not to be on Cymbalta long. I cannot stress this enough. It is hell getting off of it! I’m going through the weening process right now. If it helps you, then do what you must. It did not help me. I have had a spinal fusion and have two rods in my spine, I’m on Neurontin! It helps me a lot, but I cannot reach the ultimate amount that would take all of my pain away because it makes me disassociate from my body. It’s a crazy drug. Be careful combining things. I’ve been put through the ringer with drugs so if anyone has anymore questions just ask! I will try to be more active on here. Love and hugs to everyone 💗
