Hi, I’m wondering if anyone on here does exercise and dieting at all to try and help their endometriosis? I’m going to give it a try because I never really thought of doing it before, even when the doctors told me to try it, but I don’t know how much exercise I should do and which are the best exercises. I’ve found a diet to try out on foods to cut out or just cut down on, but I’m not entirely sure on how much exercise will be just right.
My body right now can’t tolerate exercise other than yoga and walking. Anything else makes the endo pain flare up. I always get annoyed when I’m told moderate exercise will help when it most certainly makes things worse for me.
I hear ya girl! It’s super hard. The yoga may be the best bet! I’ll let you know how it goes for me ❤️
Hey! I have seen improvement in my symptoms with more of a vegetarian/vegan diet although it’s so dang hard to give up cheese! The exercises are still tough for me. I work out once and it seems to wreck havoc on my body for days. I’ve heard yoga is best for Endo sufferers so I’ll be trying that soon and hopefully can work up a tolerance.
It’s okay, it hurts my wrists, but that usually goes away when I’m done. I don’t know that it helps the endo pain much, but it helps me feel like I’m doing what I can to stay in shape.
