Period Missing In Action
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi team,

Haven’t posted on here in a long time but seriously need some advise. My period is 9 days late. Been having really bad moods for 2 weeks, stomach cramps, back ache. I had pain on one side the other day. I generally feel achy and have a low dull ache type cramp. I am using the bathroom a lot. Have had constipation. I have bad fatigue to the point where I could sleep at my desk. I’m so irritable it’s ridiculous. I had really sore boobs for about 4 days to the point where I could just… read more

So my period arrived this morning. I'm still feeling a little lost and confused. I was due to start new medication for heavy bleeding on the first day of my period. But now im wondering if I should start them with everything being so messed up this month

I have had that happen to me. I always assumed it was because my hormones were so messed up from birth control, Orilissa, etc. it’s very weird and one time, I got so bitchy I couldn’t even stand myself!

I was diagnosed 6 years ago and never had a period this late. These symptoms are acute for the past 2 weeks and unusual for my body and my symptoms. This might be common for some people but not for me. I don't symptom spot. But i've literally felt like s**t every day for over two weeks. I'm just needing to find out what's going on, it's awareness not symptom spotting.

Unfortunately, Endo can cause all of that. I have constipation issues all the time and drink Ginger Ale faithfully because I stay neasous. Try to avoid symptom spotting because it can lead to disappointment, especially with Endo if you are actively ttc.. There are numerous reasons why a woman can miss a period and not be prego. The only think you really can do is keep testing until AF arrives. If you are ttc, hope you get your bfp soon.
Hang in there! 💕
