Hello all! I hope you are doing well. Please forgive me for the lengthy post but I need some help.

About 2 weeks I went to the doctor for leg pain and . Turns out there is a lump the size of a lime in my far right groin area. Not necessarily in my leg or my lady bits, but kind of in between. They did an ultrasound and said it was an inclusive cyst. Today I went to follow up with my gyno and she went in through my lady bit and cut it open to drain. I just saw something about endometriomas not necessarily on the ovaries. I can't remember where I saw it because I was searching for something else, but that's what it sounds like to me.

My guess is that if it was drained, but not removed, there's a good chance it will return. Get another ultrasound in a few months if you get symptoms again.

I just had surgery to get an endometrioma removed, and asked to get a hysterectomy on top of that. (For various reasons not necessarily about the cysts) Your 22 minute experience is the opposite of my overnight hospital stay and 4 weeks off work.

I actually have heard of it and fo know it is rare. I dont know a lot about it but your dr should be able to provide you with a some information. You are in my thoughts and prayers ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’—
