Going to he starting ivf soon..is there any advice anyone has from someone who had stage 4 endo and had a successful ivf? What should i expect? Any advice to make the shots easier?
Yip I did, 4 wks before IVF treatment started I fell pregnant, same again 12 mths later, that was 14 yrs ago. Dr Deeny, Glasgow said never say never Angela. My endo is still quite severe, even after 2 babies and on my 3rd Marina coil. Sometimes it's as bad as it ever was other mths not so bad. Dr Bain Stobhill hospital glasgow is fabulous too. I'll keep everything crossed for u xxx
I hope all the best for you!! Lots of success!
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member Yea i had two laparoscopies excision surgeries and i lost my left fallopian tube and now due to the scar tissue from both surgeries my right ovary is stuck to my uterus. My right tube is bent. I been on birth control for last 8 months so not due to symptoms of endo, and not trying to have anymore surgeries. My last chance trying to have a baby is ivf unfortunately.
Have you tried excision surgery yet? My doctor has a special interest/work in caring for women with endo to help them conceive. He has had a lot of success with excision.
I do realize you may have other reasons you need to do IVF. If so, I donβt have any advice but I hope for all the best!
