Abby, first off: welcome! Secondly, I'm mainly just responding to the brown blood/discharge. I've had this happen before and was worried about it so asked my OBGYN about it. He said it's common for "old blood" to come out if you've changed medicines or take anything that stops your period. However, I am not a doc and would recommend bringing your concerns up with either your OBGYN or an endo specialist! Either way, I wish you the best!

In the short term, motrin and Tylenol help. As does a warm bath and heating pad.

In the long term, look into excision surgery. My daughter is about your age and just got diagnosed with a laparoscopy surgery/excision in Oct. She is feeling a TON better!

I had excision surgery 5 months ago after suffering for YEARS and it helped me so much. I can’t even begin to explain it.

I've noticed a lot of people here post about having to have an appendectomy with excision surgeries. I'm unsure if it's actually just super common, but it's possible that the endo has spread there.

Sorry everyone. I havent been on today. Meghan i got my surgery in october of 2018. It came back 5 months later with a cyst on my ovaries. They wont give me another surgery. I felt so good after it thiugh. Thats why i wish they woukd do another.

Haysc, ive told my ob also about the brown blood and he says is normal. But doesnt seem to be normal

Also i went to the er a couole days ago. And they said that they think i have appendix problems. So i followed up with my primary doctor and they said its gotta be my endo. But i have a feeling that nobody can tell a difference because the pains are the same. I am scared. And doctors arent helping at this moment. UGH.
This is so much to deal with at such a young age. #findacuretoendo
