Sex should never be painful but there’s so many things that can affect it. I’m guessing you have a male partner? I’m also guessing you have not had surgery to diagnose Endo?

First thing is whether you were sufficiently aroused. If there’s not enough foreplay, the vagina might not open and lubricate enough. If that’s not the problem, then it definitely could be Endo, as that can cause painful sex. Often it’s from Endo implants, which commonly live between the vagina and red Tim. It can also be from pelvic floor muscle tension from years of clenching against pelvic pain.

I have had a laparoscopy and I feel the same way. Doggy Style is a hell no because it hurts so badly. The only way I can do it without pain is on my back and I have to take it slow at first no matter how much “arousal”. On top is okay sometimes but it has to be the right angle.
