A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi everyone
I’m a 19 year old who was diagnosed w stage 2 in my bowel, pouch of Douglas, uterus and cervix! I had an excision late in dec last year and was put on mirena iud. Oh goodness. Does she think you have adenomyosis? And of course not all pelvic pain is endo. Did you ever get pelvic floor physical therapy? That also helped me a lot. Not trying to say it should replace your plan; just throwing out other ideas that, I hope, might help.

Yes they did get everything! My gyno thinks this will reduce the lining in my uterus so I stop being in pain, and if I am still in pain it probably will mean the iud is the culprit behind this pain

The hormonal meds like Visanne only mask the symptoms. They do not stop Endo from growing. If you had excision surgery, you shouldn’t have more Endo. Did your surgeon say they removed everything?
