Did Any Of You Experience A Lot Of Internal Pain After A Laparoscopy?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I just had a diagnostic laparoscopy about 5 days ago. They cut out some endo on my ovaries, bladder and corners. I am still experiencing a lot of internal pain as if I'm cramping like I used to. Is this normal? Most of the YouTube videos I saw the women only complained about pain in their shoulders.

Call your doc to be safe, but yes, I felt tons better than when I went in for my first of two excision surgeries. But it did take about three weeks to not need Percocet for the pain. I had it everywhere. He basically removed my entire peritoneum, freed up bowel adhesions, some bowel Endo. It was a mess.

I had a lot of internal pain all over, near my ovaries, upper abdomen and in the areas near my scars. Mine started getting better day 10ish. I’m actually getting more pain today and I’m almost 3 weeks out.
