I feel like i grow hair on my face so fast. I pluck constantly. Has anyone’s doctors put them on something to help the hair growth?
Have you been diagnosed with PCOS? Yes, spironolactone is the most commonly prescribed one.
One of my close friends has PCOS and she gets her face sugared monthly for hair removal. I wish I had more suggestions for you!
Oh goodness. Well, I've heard from folks with PCOS that seeing an Integrative Medicine doctor or a Naturopath often helped more than the allopathic ("Western") doctors. Just a thought. A lot of MDs are doing integrative medicine now, so sometimes it's even covered under insurance.
Yes i have pcos. I only have my left ovary with a good size endometretoma (forgive the spelling its early) all the other parts are gone. February of 2019 i had the right ovary removed and that made the 7th surgery in 6 years so far. I am supposed to be on the surgery schedule but with covid its not happening.
Spirolactone, my iud caused acne so I was prescribed it 3x a day and it also helps with hair growth. I take this and did laser and it worked wonders
