Does Anyone's Laparotomy Or Laparoscopy Scars Occasionally Sharply Throb Months After The Procedure?

My laparotomy was December 2nd and this past month I've been getting little episodes of little sharp jabs. They'll stop for hours and randomly return.

My friend who removed two right ovarian tumors from me said in may get occasional shooting incisions pain long after surgery. These two surgeries were in 1997. And darned if I still get searing incisional pains.

It is a royal pain in the bun!

I was getting those until I started pelvic floor physical therapy. One of the first things she did was work on stretching the scar tissue.

I've been going and only have that lap scar so I don't get it. I wonder if the area is somehow waking up.
