I had bladder endo, so bad that the urologist needed to cut off part of my bladder. I was on a catheter for a while with just bloody pee in the bag.

Missa mentioned IC, I was diagnosed with that before my endo surgery. You still have pain, and burning while you pie, some times theres blood but not nearly as bad as you experienced!

See what the urologist and gastroenterologist say. Hopefully its something not serious.

If it is endo you need an endo specialist. The problem is that urologist or gastroenterologist do not know how to remove endo outside of the organ. They can only treat things inside, or in my case, remove a part of the said organ.

Have you been checked for a UTI? Did they do a CT to rule out kidney stones? Did they do bloodwork to check your kidney function?Interstitial Cystitis can cause blood in the urine but usually not to that extent. Did the dr that did your hysterectomy remove the Endo at the same time? If so, was it removed with excision or ablation? Either way, it is still possible for Endo to come back but it happens far more often in patients that have had ablation. Endo can be found anywhere in the body but it's usually found on the outside of the bladder, not the inside. Is your dr a specialist or just an OBGYN? Sorry for the list of questions. I'd just like to know a little more before giving any advice.

@MissaLVT- yes she checked for UTI, bladder infections. I have had both & know it was no neither & she did check.
I do & have been diagnosed with IC years ago-so it is common for me to have blood in the urine, BUT this was nothing like that. It was very light at first.(pee was all pinky read-not yellow.) Then I had TONS of blood & clotting. Like when you first start your period that day. Then the next time I peed-it was a little bit again. Nothing crazy.
So when my OBGYN did an exam-she wanted to see if it came from my vagina. She said it didn’t because there was nothing at all of the swab. There were Micro scopic drops of blood in my urine. But were used to seeing that due to IC.). She did not think it was kidneys or kidney stones. I was not having pain or any other symptoms for kidneys.
Yes-(Cut adhesions & endo from bladder)I had my hysterectomy in 2012, so it’s been awhile & even seeing a new doctor since then. I had surgery in 2018 & she did excision surgery of my bladder & A distention.
My OBGYN is not a specialist, but knows a lot about endo. I wish I could find a good one in Michigan. I have look on Nancy’s nook. Went to one doctor from there & he was an ass. He was willing to do surgery to look around & then went back to him the next time & did a 180. Didn’t want to do surgery because I have had so many surgeries already & have so much scar tissue, he felt it would do more harm.😡
I know-I would love to find a specialist & someone who can help. This blood like this is the second time now.
