Does Anyone Feel Like Their Ovary(ies) Swell?

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Concord, CA

I had stabbing horrible pain on my left side ovary pain) two days ago, followed by nausea and a bloated stomach for two days. Today I feel like both ovaries are swollen, mostly on the left. My sides where my ovaries are, are extremely hard to touch. It’s FREAKING me out. I always get so scared when I get these types of flares. Like, I never get used to this pain.

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member thank you for your response. I actually have changed my diet to exclude wheat, dairy & gluten. However, over the weekend, I cheated and I did have a bit of dairy and a veggie burger containing soy, I wonder if that inflamed it?... I’m on day 4 of the swollen ovary. I have an apt with gyno next month.

I have EXACTLY the same on my left side!
I found that I get alot of inflammation on my left ovary and started changing my diet up and now feeling a bit better.
Look at an anti inflammatory diet hun I hope it helps. Also I had a large cyst on the left side which popped and was like the worst pain ever and they keep.coming back but one thing you can do to help is look at cutting out gluten and dairy. Xxx
