Do you drink alcohol? Do you avoid alcohol? Does it make your symptoms worse?
I drink occasionally...a glass of wine with an unusually good meal, a martini or margarita if I go to dinner with friends/have gone to visit my grandma who is dying. But rarely. It's not that it… read more

I've had it 4 months. I have an appt on Thursday. My doc wanted me to wait 3-6 months to give it a chance. I'm getting more new symptoms. I'm in pain every day. I feel like my insides and expanding and stretching apart. I currently don't get prescribed any pain meds. I can get through work and that's about it.
This is kind of my last stop. I can't have estrogen based BC due to risk of stroke. I've tried every progesterone based option except the implant, which seems pointless to me since all… read more
Honestly it took 6 months for me to finally get relief the first time I got mine. I have endometriosis and adenomyosis. It may work for you at that time or it may not be the thing for you. If you are… read more
How long after concieving did your endo pain stop?
I still had it. But I also had a complicated pregnancy and almost miscarried. Had pre term labor.....
I've seen this question posted more than a dozen times on this app in the last few months. First, I'd like to say this is a valid, important question to ask, especially in this community because we have a right to know how this will potentially effect our bodies. Second, I'd like state there is good news on this front. After many, many women reported severe, albeit temporary, side effects to their periods, it was clear that companies developing the vaccinations did not include female anatomy… read more
To any of you concerned with the vaccine, know that if you keep rising up to your own strength the vaccine will not affect you. We are so complex and yet it is simple when you discover how healing… read more
I'm specifically asking women who still have their ovaries and are premonopause are not on any hormone inhibitors (like Lupron). It is so weird to me because it starting showing in my bloodwork after excision surgery and my hysterectomy (complete, not radical) that I have low estrogen levels. I figured it was my body adjusting to the excising of the endometriomas as well as maybe the removal of my tubes, but the low estrogen has continued to stay abnormally low and I am definitely experiencing… read more
Surgeries can cause that to happen, even if not removed.
Looking for some guidance about dos and donts that can help to make pain less. What should I avoid? What should I eat more of?
Gluten. Red meat. Dairy. Sugar. High processed foods. Alcohol. Caffeine. Smoking. can all make endo worse 😞
I have been on Visanne 2mg for 6 weeks. The spotting/light bleeding started 10 days after I was on the pill, and until today, the bleeding never stopped. It got a bit heavier starting at week 5: bright red blood with some small clots, but much less bleeding than a regular period. From time to time, I got cramps and I took an Advil, then I can carry on without any problem. But for the last 3-4 days, my pain is getting much much worse. At 2AM I woke up by some very sharp spasms in my tail bone… read more
I would definitely have a second opinion as visanne can actually cause cysts (or so it says in the manual). A laparoscopy would be good to at least diagnose you properly with endo. Maybe you have… read more
So I have a few days left on my pill and had surgery a week and a half ago. Yesterday I started bleeding heavier and having some pretty intense cramps, which could also be being a bit off about taking my birth control since I’m not having the best time recovering from surgery. I decided to just let myself have my period, I’m on seasonique so it’s been a while anyway and I figured my body could use it. I’m still in a good amount of pain and I have a pretty high pain tolerance so it’s been rough… read more
Yeah my doctor had me continue my pill normally. I ended up just letting myself have a period this week since it was almost time anyway. I started a new pack yesterday and will go for my post op… read more
Just had my laparoscopy done 2 days ago and the doctor wants me to start to take progesterone only pill for 8 weeks continuously until I see him. I had spotting after I started the 1st pill last night. I don't really know the bleeding is from the laparoscopy or the pill....anyone has similar experience to share?
