I have bowel endo and you will know if you have it because you wont be able to control your bowels. Its extremely life changing ive had surgery after surgery and also had adhesions which created another surgery. I finally found a doc that did an Interstim implant which helps a lot

Hi Southmeadowsmama,

I did try to work so I returned after surgery and had problems with walking especially left side. I ended up in ER because cyst on left ovary ruptuted 8 mths after surgery. I know that bowel endometriosis isn't light nor is bladder endo. I believe I have that now and bowel endo can come back if endo isn't removed with only deep excision surgery. I feel better than before. My surgeon gave me my life back but I went to so many doctors to then sat across surgeon and said yes to surgery. I wasn't clear with diagnosis of IBS. During the colonoscopy my colon was spasming. I complained of diarrhea and then constipation for years. My surgeon diagnosed me with Endo before doing the surgery and he was right. Endo can grow on lungs. I had visited a doctor who said my surgeon would have seen endo when he was doing my C/S. I never got my OR report. I must add that to my To Do list. If you have any specific questions please ask.

Hi Southmeadowsmama,

Yes, I have bowel endometriosis. Since endo isn't clear how one gets it hereditary or C/S I believe it's a combination. After testing, I had deep excision laparoscopic surgery in 2016 and adhesions were on my bowels. I believe I couldn't get pregnant after my daughter because I had C/S in 2006. The OR report stated it and biopsies confirmed endometrial implants. It took me 10 years to get a diagnosis. I have been telling my surgeon I have pulling on left side and after 3 MRIs it is confirmed that left ovary is attached by an adhesion to my colon. I do not want to go under the knife but I don't see how this is going to go away on its own. I emailed surgeon if aftermath of surgery could have caused this and got no response. I haven't returned to work because of this and no affirmitive reason for dizziness and balancing problems.

If there's anything else I can help you with please ask.

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member thank you for your response! I was told i had endo on my bowel back in 2015. My symptoms have gotten worse since then despite back to back pregnancies, a hysterectomy, and orlissa. i am wondering if you for your bowel resected or if
You ended up with a colostomy bag temporarily or permentally?
