Ok so I'm asking this question because my Mom is curious. How many of you were on long term birth control before you started having issues trying to conceive?

i’ve been taking Visanne for like 6-7months already and i told my doctor that i wanted to stop cuz im having vaginal dryness and low libido and its kinda make me depress. I decided to stop after end of this month but like recently i got my libido back. and surprisingly the vaginal dryness isn’t that bad anymore! and i haven’t got my period in like 4 months but now i got a little bit of spotting out of no where. Is it something to worry abt??

I have been taking Visanne for 5 weeks now. My doctor said I would not get periods so I was not worried when my period did not come last month ( I always had regular menstruation).
Today, I had light spotting. I'm worried now. Did you experience this too?

Hi all,
I've been trying to convince for almost a year now, without any luck at all, which is really disheartening. My menstrual cycle is regular and I've been using ovulation strips as well as taking folic acid.
I'm currently waiting for blood tests and scans to check my fertility, is there anything else I can try to help conceive?

My boyfriend and I were talking yesterday on the way home about how fertility treatments aren't covered by insurance but yet there are things that are covered if a doctor validates them as necessary medically.
Why can't a doctor validate that a woman needs fertility treatments in order to get pregnant and it be covered??

Ok this may seem a stupid question. So my surgeon/endo specialist told me I have endometriosis and he removed as much as he could but along with it I have 'trapped blood' and my blood 'washes back' up into me..he told me this after surgery while I was still drugged so I was like oh yeah endometriosis and blood washing back up cool. After going to an MRI my doctor confirmed the presence of a chocolate cyst around 5.5cm (left ovary) and one of 2cm (right ovary). He decided to give me the combined pills (Levonorgestrel/ethinylestradiol; 0.10mg/0.02mg) and he said to me that I should come back in a month to see if the cyst shrank or not, if not then he would recommend a surgery for removing only the big cyst.

I was diagnosed at Christmas with both. How long was it before anyone managed to conceive with both or one or the other? More Adenomyosis for me! Did it take a while etc?? Been having such bad pains and we’ve been trying! Keep getting my hopes up I might be pregnant but I don’t think I am.
