Hey! So I had this for a looooong time. My tips are, don’t use tampons, if you have the coil fitted get it out immediately as it’ll be collecting bacteria (found out this was my main issue!) get a course of metronidazole (after doing everything else I suggest), only use non perfumed feminine wash and switch to cotton underwear. Good luck x

I frequently come back with being positive for BV or yeast infections - almost every single time i've been in for a gyno visit since i was a teen. A while back i switched to summer's eve non scented body wash and even got some summer's eve wipes for days when i have a lot discharge, which did help, but didn't completely resolve the problem either. I also switched to non scented fabric detergent and softtener (free and gentle products). On days that are worse, I'll wear a loose dress. Tight pants seem to make things worse. I've asked about it before at my Doctor's visits, and all they did was give me a pamphlet on vaginal flora and tell me to take a probiotic. Unfortunately probiotics do not sit well in my stomach. I try to get probiotics with plain Greek yogurt instead, which probably isn't enough. Luckily I've only had a few really bad bouts of yeast infection and bv that were really painful and required medication.
