What Has Helped With Urinary Frequency/urgency?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

It seems like since my hysterectomy in November, this has gotten worse. The presurgical urinary issues were said to be due to the large mass that was in my pelvis pressing on everything. after surgery, it has gotten worse to the point where i am constantly just short of an "accident" especially when i travel despite emptying my bladder prior to leaving work. ( i have a 45- 1 hr commute one way). It becomes painful (lower pelvis). I read in my OR report there's scar tissue all around my ureters… read more

I had a hysterectomy in July. Before hand I was urinating up to 30 times a day. Since then it’s dropped a bit but also way too frequent and I feel like I never empty my bladder properly-despite clearing trial of void test before leaving hospital.
Similarly to you, I had stage IV and my bladder and uterus were fused in all sorts of ways. Surgeon accidentally nicked my bladder which was all fine.
I also, at 6 weeks get quite a large amount of yellow watery discharge every time I wake?
I wish you the best with help. Please post if you get anywhere.

I've gotten no where. I have access to my chart so i see the communication the doctor has with others. She won't prescribe anything for quicker relief-- is trying to push pelvic floor therapy- which i have adamently said no to. I am not getting injections either- I get injections in my back a couple times a year and those are unpleasant. To me, if there is a spasm- relax it. see if that is the issue causing the other issue. Do NOT push cookie cutter treatments. Not everyone will respond to the treatment and not everyone CAN go through the treatments.
I'm defeated and in tears today. Concluded it will be like this the REST of my life (i'm only 42- i didn't have any kids so there is no reason for the crappy bladder other than endo)- i 'll invest in Depends so i don't piss myself when i commute to and from work. Womens Health Care SUCKS!!!!
