Lower Left Back Pain

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Vancouver, BC

Does anyone experience lower left back pain? If so, how do you relieve it? I have tried Naproxen, but it is not touching the pain at all. I booked a massage for tonight, and I'm praying that helps.

Thanks :)

I have a rice heat pack that I can microwave, that really helps with lower back pain. When I can’t use a heat pack muscle rub works well.

I tried accupuncture which helped as well as heat pads and Tylenol and Advil. Also I stopped dairy and surprisingly less pain.

I would definitely try Pelvic PT and maybe an orthopaedic PT! I just had a great visit with my new orthopaedic PT and I have had similar sharp pains in my back, he confirmed today it is my SI (sacroiliac) joint dysfunction.

I just got refered for pelvic PT but I've learned that sacroiliac joint dysfunction is common and my period pain spasms can set it off or cause my joint to shift out of place and that's exactly how it feels when it does! I see an osteopath who helps way more than my chiropractor ever could.
