I Haven’t Been Officially Diagnosed With Endo Yet But I Have Questions....
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I’ve gone to my gyno 3x in a few months time. I went because I was so afraid I had ovarian cancer. Everytime I googled my symptoms OC was all that came up. I feel like I might get 1 week out of the month where I feel “normal”. My symptoms include bloating, night sweats, some pelvic pain but not severe, rib pain, extremely bad sciatic pain, hip pain, groin pain, thigh pain and clotting during my period. My gyno says it sounds like Endo. The 3 transvaginal ultrasounds I’ve had show nothing. The… read more

I know you posted this months ago but it is EXACTLY what I’m going through now! I was diagnosed with endometriosis 6 years ago but a lot of these symptoms are new and I’m convinced it’s OC so much so… read more

Why Do We Have To Endure An Invasive Surgery To Have A 100% Confirmed Diagnosis For Endometriosis?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

My gynecologist told me that she is certain I have endometriosis as well as pcos, with all my symptoms fitting them perfectly. But she also informed me that it would require surgery to confirm it so that I can get the treatment needed. I can’t take time out of work or college to do the surgery and life is miserable living it in pain and sleeplessness all the time. It’s not just a matter of missing out on work or school, it’s the money too. I can’t afford to be off more than a day, and I’ve been… read more

I can't answer why but I agree that it is ridiculous and unfair. I had the discovery surgery just to get told "yes you have it" and had to have the excision surgery 3 weeks later. Such a waste.

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hello, I wanted to speak to people that have been diagnosed and how they knew it was endo. I've been going to the doctor due to lower left abdomen pain that has been going on for a year. Some days it's worse than others but when on my period the pain in my entire uterus and rectum is really extremely bad (for about 5 years now) It doesn't feel like cramps and sometimes I feel like I'm going to faint or like something is trying to come out of my because of the shooting pains but now my lower left… read more

Has anyone delevoped endo/symptoms after a c-section? I never had health issues or endo symptoms until I had my son via c-section in 2016. Took over a year to finally be diagnosed with stage one endo. It just doesn’t make sense to me.
