Is it possible to have endo in your chest. Occasionally I have very sharp pains in my chest that feel similar to the pains I have due to my endo. I have gone to a dr about this before but they couldn't figure out the cause and the area that I have the pains in doesn't correspond to any organs so we didn't look any further into it.
I would bring it to their attention yes
Should I tell my surgeon about that before my excision surgery
I had a thoracoscopy which was negative by a chest surgeon prior to Dr Sinervo’s laparoscopy. A physical therapist might be beneficial in figuring out what your chest spasms might be.
Aww, c'mon... Eyes & brain!?! As if chest & northern pelvic abdomen aren't more than enough already. Total bollocks & yes, let them be extra rare.
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member tews: it hasn't been confirmed but I have it in my chest. The sensation is heavy pressure /deep ache /slight shortness of breath; if you've ever had a respiratory illness, it feels like you just finished a massive hacking session. Winded & achy.
Sadly yes. There are reports of it in eyes, on lungs, and brain. I pray that it is just a fluke and doesn't happen often. Pelvic is bad enough, I can't imagine having it anywhere else.
