Anyone Have Pain After Hitting Their Abdomen Or Poking Themselves Really Hard By Mistake?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone ever bumped their abdomen into something, or accidentally poked yourself in the gut and then had pain? I'm trying to determine whether I've strained my ab or if it is my cyst acting up. I second guess myself a lot because I spent 4 months thinking my endo and cyst was an ab strain that wouldn't heal. However, this pain seems deep (not surface level), and I have to press hard on my stomach to feel it, as opposed to just pressing on the surface level muscle. It hurts when I'm biking… read more

Pelvic Bone Pain Before/During Menses?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've wondered about this a lot and searched through pages and pages to find only things like "bone cancer"
I highly doubt it's cancer because only before and during my period, the bones in my pelvis, lower back and hips -some times all the way down to my knees - ache so bad and are sore to the touch. Is it just me or does anyone else get this? What helps you manage It? Please let me know. xox

It could be scar tissue. As you bloat the scar tissue gets pulled and causes deep pain.

Pain When Aroused?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Before sex, when I'm beginning to get aroused, I get pain in the left side of my stomach, my vagina and also my bum (sorry for tmi). I've had the problem for a while but the pain feels more intense then it used to. Its at the stage where I really am not interested in having sex, because there's pain before, during, and then pain after. Does anyone else get this too? And does anyone know why this happens?

Has Anyone Had Luck With An Implant Like The Mirena ?

Should I Still Experience Endo Side Effects Months After An Excision Surgery?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I had excision surgery last May, almost 8 months ago. My doctor removed a cyst and scraped out the endo she found around my tubes and ovaries. She said it looked good afterwards, and they even checked for blockage inside my tubes. They gave me the okay about having children and everything sounded good. I'm on a birth control pill to keep the endo from coming back too quickly, but I still feel like I'm experiencing the chronic fatigue and breast pain and muscle soreness that I had with the endo… read more

Some doctors do excision which means cutting the tissue out with cold tools, but may not find all of the growths. So there's no way of really knowing how thorough the exision is, but you can check the… read more

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have been having sciatica pains for years with my endo, more when I’m on my period and ovulating but can be whenever. I have had an MRI to see if any nerves or discs or compressed etc but apparently they aren’t, was wondering if anyone else has had this experience?

Back Pain
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi!
I was wondering if anyone else got back pain during ovulation. It kind of feels like sciatic pain in my lower back, i’ll get twinges once in a while and spasm when lying flat. I usually get bad back pain on my period but since I got laparoscopy 2 1/2 months ago I notice it during ovulation. I still am getting ovulation cramps/ soreness too. Can anyone else relate?

Pelvic Floof Disfunction Anyone, With A Side Of Awful Rumination?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

It's been almost 2yrs since my hysterectomy, it helped greatly with endometriosis related probs. Only now the what was thought was gerds, is actually likely something called rumination which specialists think is caused by potential Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. I have 6 procesures coming up to get a positive diagnosis. It's exhausting. If anyone else here is dealing with any of this feel free to leave a comment.
