How old are you? I'm considering hysterectomy. I'm 45, I had a lap a year ago but back with horrible symptoms. How are you?

Hi there, I had surgery 13 years ago to remove the cysts on each ovary, where they discovered the stage 4 endometriosis. It seems like we have similar symptoms. Why the hell wont insurance cover it?

Nothing has been done to me since then. I have chronic hypertension as well, so I can’t be on birth control. We’ve discussed lupron, hysterectomy, or another laparoscopic surgery…. I got cold turkey with lupron because of the side effects. I kind of just want them to go in and tell me the damage before I commit to hysterectomy. This disease is very frustrating. My insurance knows now I declined lupron, I wonder if they’ll decline a lap too.

hello there. I do have a chocolate cyst but my insurance hasn´t authorized the lap. my symptoms are loots of pain in ovary, leg and back, discharge, runny clear after my period and then 3 days of spotTIng!!!! on each cycle. this is my first endometrioma looking cyst. did you have surgery for it? an US will let you know if there is a complex cyst. take care

I had this happen to me prior to my surgery in June of 2021 and I’ve been having it recently also. I’m worried that the endo has come back and this is why my husband and I have not been able to conceive.

Hi PaulaHiguera, I am 42 and just had a hysteroscopy with polypectomy. The pain was better at first but then everything came back after my first cycle out of surgery. Also leaning far into getting a hysterectomy as this is no way to live. Plus I have my first oncology appointment 8/3. How are you doing now?
