Spinal Cord Stimulations
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone ever had a Spinal Cord Stimulation procedure?
My pain is so bad that the dr. wants me to give it a try but it is very detailed & was wondering fi anyone ever had one or know of someone who has.
Thank you ladies.

Hi Tigreyes,

I recently heard a celebrity say it only takes one action by you to change your life. If you watch talk shows. A man needed a kidney so on a cardboard cut out he took to a Bears football game a woman read it and he got a chance to live. I couldn't stop crying when I heard it and it got me thinking about my actions. One good action from me will can make someone else do something good and it's a chain og good deeds. I don't know why people have

I don't know what's next for me, but I have been nursing my ailments. My body isn't cooperating. I hope I'm doing the right thing looking into returning to teaching before I lose my tenure.

Thank you for the suggestions.
I pray everyday & am a Christian.
I do use the the heating pad & I have a device that has heat & massages & I used that last night. Also hot baths helps but I can't stay in there forever.
I also am using this magnesium cream that my friend had sent me & it seems to help a little.
We just have to hang in their & pray.
God bless

Hi Tigreyes,

My mom said to me to Thank God for everything you can daily. I know that there's pain that only goes away with surgery. I know you're thankfull for the suggestions and yes, aleve...can't be taken if you have kidney issues. I am reading a book about the liver and how it is responsible for everything. Getting you to feel well again is a great thing. Use the heating oad, go swimming in heated pools or a whirlpool tub. I know that things are tough for you and I took my health for granted. I asked God for forgiveness and forgave myself because we're human and make mistakes. You will get to the bottom of your pain. Keep a Jornal or what you ate and the pain mostly. Just try it.

Thank you for all your support. You have some good ideas.
I know heat helps me.
I have the stage 3 Kidney disease so that is why I can't take NSaid. or Aleve or Advil. I know they work well but my kidney dr. says no.
I bought a nice throw blanket that has a heating pad.
I love it. I bought it on Amazon for $40.00.
Thank you for all your help & support.
love, prayers, & hugs

Hi Tigreyes,

I read your posted concern about stimulations. If I may, I had pain from whiplash and herniated discs in cervical spine where I went to PT. They used STEM, massages with tapping across shoulder for pain. I was in more pain with the STEM because any one with auto immune diseases and Lupus is one it creates flare ups. I know for a fact that you can make the decision for your health based on things you've done. Please don't get flustered by it. You don't want to blame your husband for something that he says and doesn't work. I would say that he helps in the, house is very good and cooks. That is wonderful and shows that he cares. You can do the rest.

The belt.... so you're out under 100 dollars the most and it stabilizes your lower back. I wore a cervical neck brace for a while. I also lost weight and took longer showers so the heat can help relieve muscle spasms instead of medication. I used a heating pad and rubs like Aspercreme. I know Aleve and Naprroxen....is good for pain and took that with abdominal pain during periods. You can read up on their strength and Google if it's safe to take if you have endo. The final thing I did was get a tempradepic mattress with a neck pillow that is contoured for neck curve so nerve don't flare up. I have Gabapendiin but don't have muscle spasms. I have deep pain that radiates down the leg. The osteoarthritis needs an anti-inflammatory medication and Aleve is one. I would take Naproxen....because it can take care of everything.
