Going for my first surgery this Friday, March 18th and the paperwork states “Hysteroscopy with tissue removal” and I did not know this was what is planned until I completed my pre-op check in for what I thought was just a diagnostic laparoscopy. Can anyone kindly share your experience with either procedure? Thank you

I had a laproscopy in November; my first ever surgery. Although the first day of recovery was a little rocky, I was asleep for the most part. It took around 4 days for me to recover and everyday got better. I had three ovarian cysts which had to be surgically removed and thats when they discovered my endo. The surgery changed my life. Even though I do still live with slight pain, the removal of the cysts helped tremendously. And the discovery of my endometriosis changed my life. I didn’t feel “crazy” anymore, there was something going on with me. Overall, I had a positive experience with laproscopy.
