Hi everyone! I am 25 and have learnt i have endometrioma in my left ovarian (4cm) and high CA125 level, my doctor wants me on Visanne. I have read so many side effects and therefore i couldnt dare taking Visanne.. I am on Yasmin contraceptive pill instead. My mother told me she also had endometriosis when she was few years older than me and even with endometrioma in one ovarian, she could get pregnant and give birth to my sister.. Being advised to have one pre-laparoscopy so I probably will, but just want to confirm that if nothing shows on the MRI that doesn't mean it's not endometriosis?

Is it a phase of endometriosis? I am just wondering, if deep lesions can appear also in patients with light level of endometriosis if they do not cure it with any kind of medication?

I have painful periods, heavy and irregular. Bloating, constipation, diarrhoea, pain with bowel movements sometimes, frequent need to wee, nausea, headaches all the time. Constant dull ache in my lower stomach and back. But sometimes get shooting pains in my right side.

My ultrasound scan came back negative but I'm still in pain and feel tired all the time too. I'm seeing a gynae soon but I'm scared I might need a laparoscopy.

Hello, I wanted to speak to people that have been diagnosed and how they knew it was endo. I've been going to the doctor due to lower left abdomen pain that has been going on for a year. After being diagnosed with suspected endo, how long does it usually take to get a laparoscopy scheduled? My diagnosis is probable deep infiltrating endometriosis of the recto vaginal septum. Thanks in advance!

Hey endo warriors. 💛 Anyone here experience bowel endo before? I had a hysterectomy and multiple laparoscopies for endo in the past, and my doctors suspect it’s back. After doing some digging, it seems like bowel endo is the type of endo that’s back, but I don’t know if my symptoms make sense. If anyone feels comfortable sharing theirs, that’d be so so helpful.
