Orlissa - What Were Your Side Effects?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

After my laparoscopy in Oct 2021, I was prescribed Orlissa. I've notice my mental health is declining rapidly. I have a history of being on birth controls that made me have very manic depressive episodes. This time these episodes are more frequent and severe. I'm trying to determine if its the medication or if it's me.

Additionally, if you were prescribed Orlissa and take an anti-depressant at the same time, I'd love to hear your experience too as that may be a route I need to take.

I did not have a good result with taking Orilissa.

I did take Prozac while I was on Orlissa for a while. I don’t think there were any issues taking it with Orlissa and if Orlissa is helpful you I hope you can get your mental health to a place where you can still take it. I also didn’t know if issues were from medication or stress in my life but most likely it’s a little of both. I also think constant pain just doesn’t do any favors for mental health either haha. I hope you figure out what to do for you! You’ve got this though!
