I have a DIE nodule on my bowel which is due for removal sometime this year on the waiting list for surgery

You could ask for a colonoscopy if you would get in sooner for that than your surgery? If it’s the same wait, I would see how it is after the surgery and then ask for colonoscopy if it’s not gone. I’ve had a lot of bleeding too… eventually I had hemmorhoids show up (all the pressure of the endo belly plus a lot of follicles during an IVF cycle) so i think it’s mostly from that but also recently confirmed the endo is on my bowel and they removed a rectal cyst, so maybe a combo of things. I had a colonoscopy 2 years ago to rule out colon cancer because of the symptoms and it runs in my family.
The colonoscopy is a thousand times easier than the lap surgery, if that’s what is worrying you! You wake up and dont feel like you’ve been violated haha … I did have an endo flare up with pain for a few days after but otherwise it was fine. Hope you can get surgery or something sorted out soon! The waiting is brutal
I thought of calling my doctor and ask her opinion on it, but to be honest the idea of colonoscopy doesn't sit well with me I think I'm over thinking in it ,I just want that surgery over and done with.
